Ingredients
Base recipe:
1 cup milk (any kind)
¼ cup (or 4 tablespoons) chia seeds
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder (optional)
¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Topping ideas:
Fresh fruit (banana, berries, etc.)
Nuts
Dried coconut pieces or coconut flakes
Flaxseed
Hemp hearts
Seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.)
Serves 1-2.
Method
Put base recipe ingredients into a mason jar and shake gently.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Shake a few times within the first hour to help it gel evenly.
Garnish as desired.
Notes:
Recipe can be halved — or you can eat both servings yourself (I’ve definitely done that before!).
