General:

• Prefers bright indirect light

• Prefers aerated and well-draining potting mix

• Toxic to humans and pets

Watering:

• Water when first inch of potting mix is dry

• Water thoroughly until potting mix is saturated

• Fully drain excess water

Other:

• Raise humidity by grouping with other plants or using a pebble tray

• Fertilize lightly in spring and summer

• Re-pot as needed in spring or summer

TIMELINE

Jun 11/22: My friend gifted me this beautiful plant (along with this one) for my birthday! This was labelled as a Ficus Burgundy and I believe its common name is the rubber plant (no relation to the actual rubber tree). I’ve been wanting a rubber plant as they are very stunning plants, but I haven’t been plant shopping at all this year. This was a wonderful surprise.
