General:

• Prefers bright indirect light

• Prefers rapidly draining potting mix

• Non-toxic

Watering:

• Water when potting mix is almost completely dry

• Water thoroughly until potting mix is saturated

• Fully drain excess water

Other:

• Fertilize every two weeks in spring, summer, and early fall

TIMELINE

May 31/19: One of my dear friends gave me Orchid 001 as part of my birthday gift. When I first received it, it was a beautiful mini orchid with tons of blooms. I have no idea what I’m doing though so it hasn’t bloomed again since. It has, however, grown a few new leaves and a very long aerial root! I love how this plant looks, even without the blooms.

Jun 9/20: It’s time for Orchid 001 to move into a bigger pot. I didn’t want to buy an entire bag of orchid potting mix so I researched some alternatives and decided to pot the orchid in rocks instead. We’ll see how it goes.
