TIMELINE
Jul 21/20: Parlor Palm 001 joins our family! I’ve had my eye on a parlor palm for a long time and we finally picked up a small one. This sweet houseplant is a slow grower and I think it can be rather finicky, but it’s beautiful and reminds me of being on vacation, so I’m giving it a go. It has such a pretty silhouette!
Jul 21/20: Parlor Palm 001 in its nursery pot.
Aug 6/20: Parlor Palm 001 in its new cachepot. I changed around the plants in my cachepots to find just the right combination and fit. Now that my collection is complete for the year, I think I’m mostly satisfied with the placement and cachepots for each plant.
Oct 12/20: It’s been a couple of months and Parlor Palm 001 hasn’t changed much in terms of the overall size and shape. It does look like it’s fanned out a bit more and the leaves seem to have faded a bit in terms of the colour. I’m a bit worried about this one.
