POTHOS 009

General:

• Prefers bright indirect light

• Prefers aerated and well-draining potting mix

• Slightly toxic to humans and pets

Watering:

• Water when first inch or two of potting mix is dry

• Water thoroughly until potting mix is saturated

• Fully drain excess water

Other:

• Fertilize monthly in spring, summer, and early fall

• Pinch off new shoot tips to control shape and size

• Re-pot every year or two in spring or summer

TIMELINE

May 6/21: This is my first plant purchase of 2021! I’m trying to be very selective this year with plants — I still have my rule of buying a maximum of one plant per store visit, but this year, I’d like to only buy plants that I don’t already have. Pothos 009 is technically not a pothos, but it carries the common name of Silver Satin Pothos. It was one of the plants I had my eye on so I decided to go for it. This plant was very compact and flat when I first brought it home, but I gave it a nice spot in bright indirect light and it’s perked right up!
