TIMELINE
Jul 14/20: Pothos 002 joins our family! This is a beautiful neon pothos that came into my life via a sweet moment of synchronicity. Since I started my foray into houseplant, I’ve had my sights set on adding a neon pothos to our collection. Hubby and I had looked at some small ones last week, but none of them really spoke to us so we decided to hold off. I headed back to the store today to check out the selection again, but the store was still closed a few minutes after the opening time. I turned around and started my walk home, thinking it wasn’t meant to be. I passed by another plant store and decided to check it out even though I was sure the plants would be out of my budget. Lo and behold, I found this gem sitting deep in the store and it was a decent price! It’s got some lovely trailing vines that I’m going to try propagating soon.
Jul 16/20: Pothos 002 is blessed with many beautiful trailing vines, so I decided to try my hand at propagating a few of them! I clipped off three of the longer ones, cut them into sections (each with a leaf and a node), and planted them into freshly watered soil. You can check out Pothos 003’s progress here.
