TIMELINE
Jul 16/20: Introducing Pothos 003! I propagated the cuttings from three of Pothos 002’s beautiful trailing vines into soil today. It’s currently enjoying its new home in a patch of bright indirect light. We’ll check on it again in a few weeks!
Jul 16/20: Pothos 003.
Jul 22/20: Pothos 003 after I put it in a temporary cachepot. It’s also really hard to capture the colour of this plant, but I think this photo does a pretty good job.
Sep 20/20: It’s been a few months and the overall shape of Pothos 003 has changed a bit. There were several leaves that didn’t root, so I pulled them out of the potting mix. The rest seem to be rooting and the leaves seem to be perkier than when I first propagated them. There have also been a couple of points of exciting new growth!

Sep 20/20: Besides the two new leaves that grew out of an existing leaf, there’s a point of new growth peeking out of the potting mix.
Oct 12/20: Turns out there are two points of new growth coming from the potting mix. One is already showing its leaf shape. Super exciting!
Nov 29/20: Pothos 003 is doing so well. I’m considering this propagation a success and I’ll be trying to propagate another couple of vines from the very fast growing Pothos 002.
